The Homemaker/Companion role involves providing essential non-medical home care services focused on companionship, light housekeeping, and household support to help older adults remain safe and independent. Key duties include preparing simple meals, assisting with errands, providing safety supervision, and maintaining professional communication.
No prior experience is required as training is available for candidates who enjoy working with seniors and meet minimum age and logistical requirements. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, be physically able to perform manual tasks, and successfully pass background and reference checks.
Abernathy Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to support seniors in their homes. No experience required — training available for the right candidates. Flexible part-time schedules with immediate openings in Revere, Everett, Chelsea, Malden, Medford, and surrounding areas.
