The clinician will screen for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders using integrated strength-based assessment interviews to determine presence, onset, symptoms, and patterns of disorders. Responsibilities also include conducting initial assessments to determine the appropriate level of care, developing preliminary individualized treatment plans, and completing initial authorizations for community-based services.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling and hold an LMSW or LPC license from the State of Michigan, though highly qualified LLMSW candidates may be considered. The role requires meeting the qualifications of a Mental Health Professional (MHP) per Michigan Medicaid Services standards.
