The Residential Aide is responsible for maintaining the physical environment and program standards, monitoring client medication self-administration, and teaching residents appropriate activities of daily living. This role also involves preparing and facilitating educational groups and coordinating care with providers and families as needed.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license with a good driving record is required. Two years of experience working with a relevant population is preferred, and CPR & First Aid Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.

About the program: Oak Street
10 Bed Co-Ed Transitional Living Program for adults with Substance Use Disorders in Willimantic. Clients must attend outpatient treatment while in the program. Clients must have a discharge plan as it is a transitional living.
About the Position: Residential Aide
High diploma or GED required.
Two years’ experience working with a relevant population preferred.
