The Recovery Specialist works within a team model to assist families needing substance abuse treatment by providing necessary education and support to maintain recovery. Additional duties include transferring program information, mediating resident concerns, coordinating with community organizations, and providing intervention and support services.
A high school education or better is required, though knowledge in the recovery field is preferred. Critical requirements include strong written and verbal communication skills, computer proficiency, the ability to monitor female clients during urine collection, and possessing a reliable vehicle.
Center for Human Development, CHD, is currently seeking per diem Recovery Specialists for our Grace House residential program.
Grace House is a residential treatment program for mothers in early recovery located in Northampton, MA. The program can house up to fourteen mothers with children in a collective living environment, where they share space and resources in an effort to build a recovery community and encourage peaceful living. As a therapeutic setting, we strive to provide each family with a safe, nurturing environment where mothers and their children can experience success.
Per Diem pay rate is $18.00/hr.
Flexible - We have per diem openings for all three shifts for this 24/7 program.
