The STNA assists nursing staff (RN or LPN) in providing optimal and safe care to residents, which includes preparing rooms, assisting with admissions and discharges, and performing essential daily care tasks. Responsibilities also involve accurately recording vital signs, assisting with mobility, encouraging resident intake, and responding promptly to resident needs.
The role requires performing various duties under the direction of licensed nurses to ensure resident safety and well-being at the Norwalk Memorial Home. Essential functions include personal care, monitoring vital signs, assisting with mobility and feeding, and handling resident property and transport.

A STNA, under the supervision and/or direction of a RN or LPN performs various duties assisting the staff nurses in the treatment and optimal safe care of residents in accordance with the established methods, policies, and procedures of Fisher-Titus Medical Center and Norwalk Memorial Home.
