This role involves coordinating the accurate handling of patient case management and scheduling for both office-based and hospital surgical procedures, including those related to Workers' Compensation (BWC). The coordinator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining medical record documentation throughout the surgical and BWC framework while providing quality support to patients, case managers, and adjusters.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and experience in a medical ambulatory setting, along with maintaining CPR certification and being trained in medical terminology. Preferred qualifications include experience with BWC and/or surgery scheduling, and knowledge of the Ohio BWC website.
