The Medical Assistant will support physicians with direct patient care tasks, including taking vitals, assisting with procedures, and preparing specimens. Additionally, the role involves significant administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing patient check-in/out, and handling insurance verification.
A High School Diploma or GED is required, with preference given to candidates who have completed a Medical Assistant program or possess two or more years of clinical experience. Candidates should possess strong multitasking and communication skills, proficiency with EMR systems, and basic knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes.
The Medical Assistant supports physicians with hands-on patient care and provides front desk support such as scheduling, check-in, and patient communication. You’ll use both your clinical skills and your administrative strengths. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety and wants to be cross-trained in multiple areas of the office.
