Clinical duties involve rooming patients, collecting vital signs, reviewing histories, performing basic lab tests, and administering medications as directed by a provider. Administrative tasks include managing supplies, updating records, and handling scheduling, referrals, and authorizations.
A High School diploma or equivalent is required, along with Medical Assistant Certification from an approved body and current CPR Certification. Experience is preferred, particularly proficiency in venipuncture.
Rooms patients, collects vital signs, review patient medication list and patient medical/social history, collects specimens and performs basic laboratory tests, administers injections and medications as directed by provider in addition to other clinical tasks. Administrative duties include ordering supplies, updating/maintaining medical records, obtaining referrals/authorizations and scheduling appointments.
High School graduate or equivalent. Medical Assistant Certification (i.e., AAMA CMA, AMT RMA, NHA CCMA, NCCT NCMA, or NAHP NRCMA), CPR Certification, Computer experience, Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
Medical Assistant diploma or degree program. Minimum of one year medical assisting experience. Proficient in venipuncture. .
