The position involves assisting the healthcare team by communicating patient needs and performing clinical tasks such as specimen collection and vitals monitoring. Additionally, the role is responsible for conducting radiologic procedures and basic laboratory functions in an outpatient setting.
Candidates must be high school graduates and hold a degree from an accredited school of radiologic technology. Applicants are required to be registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and possess Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
This position functions as part of a health care team by communicating patient needs/problems to the provider and assists in the delivery of health care in an outpatient setting. Responsible for performing radiologic procedures, as well as, selected point of care testing, specimen collection, taking vitals, performing basic lab functions, and other miscellaneous clinical responsibilities.
Previous hospital or medical office experience and excellent communication skills.
