The Advanced Practice Provider will deliver high-quality care through comprehensive patient evaluation, treatment, education, and follow-up, serving as a trusted clinician and clinical resource within a team-based environment. Key duties include coordinating care across inpatient and outpatient settings and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Applicants must possess a Master's degree (for NP) or graduation from an accredited PA program, along with an active Maryland license, DEA/CDS licenses, and current BLS certification. Prior experience in Gastroenterology or adult primary care is preferred, alongside strong clinical judgment and EMR proficiency.
Frederick Health Medical Group (FHMG), a highly respected 160+ provider, multi-specialty medical group, is seeking a dedicated Advance Practice Provider (APP)—Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant—to join our growing, mission-driven organization. The Advanced Practice Provider serves as a trusted clinician and clinical resource, delivering high-quality care through comprehensive patient evaluation, treatment, education, and follow-up. Working closely with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams, the APP ensures continuity of care from hospital encounters through outpatient communication and coordination. The APP will assist our surgeons in triaging, discharge, etc. and provide support on weekends, as required.
This role blends clinical autonomy with strong team support and offers meaningful involvement in quality improvement, patient experience, and care coordination initiatives.
