The Speech Language Pathologist collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to provide therapeutic services, including evaluation, treatment, and education for assigned patients. Essential functions involve completing accurate evaluations, setting realistic goals, selecting appropriate therapeutic techniques, and adhering to documentation and insurance guidelines.
Candidates must complete patient evaluations according to standards, set measurable functional goals, and independently select and perform consistent therapeutic techniques based on clinical knowledge. After one year of experience, there is potential for student supervision responsibilities.
