The General Dentist diagnoses and treats diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums, performing procedures such as oral surgery, root canals, extractions, and fillings. Responsibilities also include constructing oral prostheses, interpreting diagnostic tests, managing patient histories, and educating patients on oral health maintenance.
Candidates must possess a Doctoral degree (D.D.S. or D.M.D.), with residency or fellowship training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required credentials include a current State of Michigan Dentist License, Controlled Substance License, and a Current DEA License.

SUMMARY Under the direct supervision of the Dental Director and in collaboration with the Dental Administrator; diagnoses and treats diseases, injuries, and malformation of teeth and gums, and all other related oral structures by performing the following duties.
