The Nurse Practitioner provides high-quality, patient-centered primary care to individuals under physician supervision, focusing on clinical excellence and patient education within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). Essential duties include conducting comprehensive health assessments, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic illnesses, ordering tests, performing procedures, and developing patient-centered treatment plans.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral Nurse Practitioner program and hold current, unrestricted RN and NP licensure in Michigan, along with national certification (FNP, Adult-Gerontology, etc.). Required knowledge includes in-depth primary care and chronic disease management, familiarity with clinical procedures, and strong skills in EMR documentation and collaborative teamwork.
