Operates Computed Tomography equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images under the direction of a Radiologist. Responsible for patient preparation, radiation safety, and the accurate management of images within PACS and Radiology Information Systems.
Requires a Technical Diploma from an AMA approved school, a New York State Radiologic Technologist License, and 1-2 years of experience in Radiologic Technology. ARRT Advanced Certification in CT and NYS IV Contrast Injection Certification are required within one year of hire.

Under the direction of a Radiologist, the CT Technologist operates Computed Tomography equipment to produce clinical diagnostic images. Performs procedures according to established standards and practices without constant supervision of technical detail.
Bachelor's Degree in Radiology program or related Health field. 1 - 2 years In CT. Thorough knowledge of CT equipment.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
