The Veterinary Surgical Technician will manage patient care and workflow efficiency, which includes surgical preparation, accurate anesthesia administration, monitoring, and recovery of surgical patients. Responsibilities also involve diagnostic procedures like blood draws and catheter placement, alongside educating and communicating with clients.
The ideal candidate should be a skilled and compassionate technician, preferably a CVT graduate or experienced veterinary technician, committed to high standards of patient care for dogs and cats. Essential requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with minimal supervision.
