The Clinician is primarily responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, including standardized suicide risk tools, providing brief crisis counseling, developing safety plans, and coordinating care within the Adult Community Crisis Stabilization component. This role also involves providing direct clinical services in individual and group settings, completing necessary documentation, and offering clinical guidance to support staff.
Candidates must possess a sound understanding of Human Behavior in the Social Environment, mental illness, substance use, co-occurring disorders, and appropriate clinical interventions to support clients. Pay rates vary based on licensure status, with higher rates for those holding independent licensure.

The CCS Clinician works within the Adult CCS component of the larger Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) and is primarily responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments inclusive of the use of standardized assessment tools for suicide risk, brief crisis counseling, individualized risk management/safety planning, psychoeducation, discharge planning, and care coordination.
The CCS Clinician is expected to have a sound understanding of Human Behavior in the Social Environment, Mental illness, substance use and co-occurring disorders and clinical interventions to appropriately support persons served.
