The Surgical Neurophysiologist provides intraoperative monitoring services, including performing preoperative assessments and conducting various electrophysiological tests like SSEPS, TcMEPS, EMG, EEG, and BAEP. Key duties involve communicating findings clearly to the surgical team, documenting all data, and completing necessary post-operative reports and billing forms.
Candidates must possess CNIM certification or be CNIM-Eligible, along with knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathological processes, and aseptic techniques. Essential abilities include interpreting neurophysiologic signals, operating electrophysiological equipment (Cadwell preferred), and precisely applying electrodes to patients in the operating room setting.

This position is for a 1099 Independent Contractor and not an employee. The Surgical Neurophysiologist performs a preoperative assessment of the patient, conducts SSEPS, TcMEPS, EMG, EEG, BAEP, direct nerve testing and other modalities intraoperatively, communicates findings to the operating room team, documents findings, completes post-operative reports and billing forms.
