Location

The Optometrist is responsible for providing preventive and therapeutic optometry services, including routine refraction, specialized examinations, and after-hours on-call coverage for urgent patient needs. This role also requires participation in the health center's Performance Improvement program and adherence to Evidence-Based Medicine practices.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited optometry school, board certified, and licensed to practice Optometry in Missouri, with effective clinical and communication skills. Additional requirements include maintaining hospital-admitting privileges and proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHR).
