The Medical Coordinator, Licensed Practical Nurse or Vocational Nurse, works within the Student Services team to arrange and coordinate all necessary health services, including urgent, emergent, and preventative care for the children in care. This involves maintaining confidential medical records, communicating health needs to clinical staff, scheduling appointments, coordinating transportation, ensuring translation services are available, and acting as a liaison with community healthcare providers.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent and hold a current Licensed Practical Nursing Credential for the state of employment, along with a minimum of two years of experience in medical services administration, specifically managing comprehensive health services programs. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and pass mandatory screenings including criminal background checks, drug screens (THC is no longer tested), physical exams, TB tests, and child abuse registry checks, with Spanish bilingualism being required.

The Medical Coordinator, Licensed Practical Nurse or Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) works as a staff member of the Student Services team. Arrange and coordinate appropriate health services, including urgent, emergent and preventative health services, for children in care. This includes maintaining complete, confidential medical records for children, ensuring appropriate communication of health needs to case managers and clinicians, scheduling health care appointments, coordinating transportation to health care appointments, ensuring qualified interpretation and translation services are in place, and serving as a liaison for community health care providers.
High School diploma or equivalent ~Must possess a current Licensed Practical Nursing Credential from the state in which employed~ Minimum of two years of previous medical services administration, including demonstrated experience in operating and securing comprehensive health services programs~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (we no longer test for THC), physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
