What we ask of you

• Screen patients before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to the examination.
• Prepares patients for injections (DTI), imaging procedures, explaining the procedure, and positioning patient's body parts appropriately.
• Perform routine and advanced DTI imaging procedures on designated portions of the body used by physicians to diagnose and treat a patient's illness/injury with minimal supervision while providing patient support throughout the procedure. Adjust DTI scan parameters and dose reduction techniques as needed.
• Maintain a positive attitude and working relationships with radiology team, follow physician instructions precisely, and accurately maintain patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS).
• Maintain a clean work area promoting good safety habits for patients and co-workers, and maintain equipment in good working order, clean and disinfect after each use.
• Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements, and ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines.
• Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades, and monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary.
• All other duties as assigned.
