The role involves providing direct care to residents to promote their highest level of functioning, assisting with maintaining a safe and clean environment, and ensuring quality services adhere to facility standards and regulations. Key duties include reporting resident status changes, providing personal care per the plan, documenting care, assisting with meals, and performing clinical procedures within the scope of practice.
Candidates must possess a Certification as a CNA from an approved State course and ideally have six months of experience in long-term care. Applicants must also meet health requirements, pass fingerprinting and criminal background checks, and demonstrate compassion for working with the elderly.
