include assisting clients with prescribed medication, mobility, personal care, recommended exercises, shopping, and light housekeeping duties like meal preparation. Caregivers must also collect condition information and report any unusual incidents to medical staff and family members.
Candidates should ideally have previous caregiver experience, though it is not required, and must possess a current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification. Essential qualities include respect, compassion, knowledge of housekeeping/cooking with dietary awareness, and strong communication and time management skills, along with physical endurance.
