The Radiology Tech will capture high-quality x-ray images to diagnose patient injuries, acting as a kind guide and reliable helper throughout the exam process. Responsibilities also include reviewing images, making necessary adjustments, and collaborating with the Mid-level Provider and Ortho Tech.
Candidates must possess a Radiology Tech permit to practice in Iowa and hold active ARRT certification. Essential soft skills include the ability to communicate calmly, provide reassurance to nervous patients, listen effectively, and work independently while knowing when to seek assistance.
As a Radiology Tech working in our Urgent Injury Clinic in Norwalk, you’ll help our patients get back to living by taking the first step in care, getting x-ray images to figure out what’s wrong! Every day you will work alongside our Urgent Injury Clinic team of a Mid-level Provider and Ortho Tech to create a welcoming and comfortable patient experience, ensuring patients get their questions answered and understands their journey to healing. To thrive in this role, you must have a Radiology Tech Permit to Practice in the state of Iowa, an active ARRT certification and a passion for the wellbeing of every patient you see. This position is located at our new Norwalk office opening summer 2026!
Norwalk Urgent Injury Clinic hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 10am - 6pm, Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 8am-12pm. As the Norwalk UIC Rad Tech, you will be expected to cover at least 1 weekend per month, that you ultimately get to choose which Saturday you would like to work.
