The Sonographer will perform diagnostic sonographic procedures, travel to assigned clinic sites, review patient data, and create reports to assist physicians with documentation and diagnosis. Key duties include evaluating sonograms for anomalies, communicating findings, and providing visual guidance during procedures like amniocentesis.
Candidates must be graduates of a CAAHEP-accredited program and hold Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification with an OB/GYN specialty. Required knowledge includes human anatomy, medical terminology related to OB/GYN, applied ultrasound physics, and HIPAA compliance, alongside strong interpersonal skills.
