The Sonographer will perform required sonographic procedures, travel to various clinic sites, and meticulously review patient charts and medical history to create documentation assisting physicians. They must evaluate sonograms to identify anomalies, communicate findings, and provide visual guidance during procedures like amniocentesis.
Candidates must be a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with the Adult Echocardiography (AE) specialty and a graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited program, requiring at least two years of AE experience. Essential qualifications include knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, applied ultrasound physics, HIPAA compliance, and strong interpersonal skills.
