The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will work under physician supervision to provide quality treatment, including performing health histories, ordering diagnostic tests, interpreting findings, making diagnoses, and formulating treatment plans. They are also responsible for referring complicated cases, providing emergency care, and supporting clinic operations through policy development and improvement implementation.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program and hold current NCCPA certification and South Carolina Physician Assistant licensure, along with BLS certification. No previous experience is explicitly required, but knowledge of various medical conditions and excellent communication skills are necessary.
Education - Bachelor's degree in a Physician Assistant program approved by an accredited medical body such as CAHEA, American Medical Association or the Association of Medical College.
