The role involves ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned, inspected, tested, and maintained according to sterile technique principles, while also monitoring the operative schedule to guarantee necessary supplies and implants are available. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting equipment issues, taking corrective action for technique breaks, and maintaining required State and Federal sterility documentation for compliance.
Candidates must possess knowledge of sterile techniques, instrumentation identification, and infection prevention importance, along with the ability to work cooperatively and maintain predictable attendance. A High School Diploma or GED is required, and one year of sterile processing experience along with Certified Sterile Processor Certification are preferred.
Opportunity to work in a brand-new Ambulatory Surgery Center! No weekends, no call, no holidays! Per Diem status with potential to move to Full Time status within 3-6 months.
