The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for the clinical, technical, and administrative functions of the home respiratory therapist program, including equipment installation, patient assessment, and clinical liaison with healthcare providers. This role also involves maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, ensuring vehicle maintenance, and overseeing regulatory compliance for staff respiratory therapists.
Candidates must possess medical or respiratory experience and hold a valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state of practice. Essential duties include frequent lifting of up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds while working in patient homes.
