The Registered Nurse assists in providing nursing care to patients in a same-day surgery setting, assuming total responsibility for patient care according to physician orders and center policies. This includes monitoring post-operative patients, administering ordered medications, and managing patient discharge according to facility guidelines.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing, holding a current Registered Nurse License along with current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Essential abilities include assessing and implementing total nursing care for post-operative patients, accurately assessing pain/nausea needs, and functioning independently in emergencies.
RN - PACU/SDS/Recovery
Assists in provision of nursing care to patients in a same day surgery setting. Assumes total responsibility for patient care in accordance with physician’s orders and centers policies. Monitors and controls use of and charging for supplies utilized in the center.
