The nurse independently performs direct patient care functions, utilizing the nursing process to deliver developmentally appropriate care. Responsibilities include prescribing, delegating, and coordinating patient care based on clinical judgment and evidence-based guidelines to promote comfort.
A minimum of one year of job-related experience is required upon hire, along with a four-year Bachelor's degree (BSN). Candidates must hold a current professional nursing license in Texas and possess required certifications including BLS, PALS/NRP/ACLS, and PACES certification.
Independently performs the functions of a registered nurse in direct patient care. Utilizes the nursing process in the delivery of developmentally appropriate care. Also works in collaboration with other health care professionals to provide a comprehensive plan of care to meet the patient/family needs.
