The Dental Technician prepares rooms for patient care, sterilizes instruments, and ensures infection control measures are followed for equipment and exam rooms. This role also serves as backup to the Dental Assistant by handling routine reception work, seating patients, providing post-visit instructions, and maintaining accurate patient records.
A high school diploma or equivalent is the minimum educational requirement, though any combination of experience and training providing the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities is acceptable. Candidates must obtain Radiation Health and Safety certification within nine months and CPR certification within 90 days of employment.

The Dental Technician position performs dental office duties including setting up rooms for patient care and sterilizing instruments. The position provides excellent customer service when answering questions and gathering information to maintain accurate patient records. Serves as a backup to the Dental Assistant in answering phones and providing additional office and informational support.
• Sterilization Tech or dental clinic experience
• Successful completion of CPR certification within 90 days of employment.
• Work directly with other team members to provide quality customer service for patients and customers.
