The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide direct therapy to patients according to the plan of care established by the Occupational Therapist, while also monitoring and documenting patient progress. Responsibilities also include collaborating with team members on discharge plans and contributing to case management.
The role requires assisting in providing skilled care under the supervision of a registered physical therapist across various settings including home health, skilled nursing, and outpatient therapies. Candidates must maintain positive interactions with patients and staff while adhering to applicable state regulations.
