The primary duties involve demonstrating competency in rhythm strip interpretation and immediately notifying the Registered Nurse or physician of life-threatening arrhythmias. This role also requires posting rhythm strips per policy and assisting with CPRS documentation.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalency and have six months to one year of experience in a healthcare setting focusing on basic EKG and arrhythmia interpretation. A certification in EKG is preferred.
