Respiratory Therapy Tech (PRN)

Respiratory Therapy students!!! We have an exciting new opportunity as a Respiratory Therapy Tech. As a Respiratory Therapy Tech with us, you will provide professional respiratory therapy services to children under a licensed respiratory therapist within the framework of physicians' orders, care team guidelines, and care plans.

• Pay $20/hr Schedule Varied shifts available that can work around class schedule Day and overnight opportunities available What You'll Do Within the respiratory therapy scope of practice, physician’s orders, and the child’s care plan, provide a range of respiratory services including inhaled medication therapy, chest physiotherapy, oxygen therapy, PEP therapy, CPAP therapy and BIPAP therapy.
• Assist with care of artificial airways.
• Maintain accurate, completed, and timely records as defined by respiratory therapy standards of practice and ChildServe policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively, respectfully, and professionally with children, physicians, families, school personnel, ChildServe staff, and others to assure assigned child’s care needs are assessed, communicated, and met.
• What You'll Need Current enrollment in an accredited Respiratory Therapy program, one year of coursework completed.
• Current BLS certification or willingness to obtain.
• PALS certification encouraged.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
• Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
