The Occupational Therapy Assistant treats patients under the supervision of a Licensed Occupational Therapist and communicates patient progress to the healthcare team. They also conduct training for caregivers and maintain professional documentation of services.
Candidates must be licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state where services are provided. They should also comply with licensure and certification standards and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Requirements: What You’ll Do:
Provide treatment per established care plans Collaborate with OTRs, families, and care teams Maintain accurate electronic documentation Educate staff and families on care programs
Active COTA license in the state of practice Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and patient-focused mindset
