The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant will observe, note, and report on patient progress toward treatment goals while teaching patients new approaches to tasks. Responsibilities also include maintaining professional standards and optimizing patients’ functional abilities under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist.
Candidates must be a graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant program and possess a state COTA license or be license eligible. A valid state driver's license and CPR certification are also required qualifications.
Detail-Oriented: Observe, note and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals and ensure proper documentation of patient care.
