The Mental Health Technician supports the patient's therapeutic treatment plan as part of the multidisciplinary team. This role involves providing essential personal care such as hygiene, feeding, bathing, and assisting patients with mobility and elimination.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with current CPR certification. A minimum of one year of experience in patient care within a therapeutic mental health setting is preferred, as is 3 to 6 months of direct care experience with the elderly.
