The role involves diagnosing and managing preventive, acute, and chronic healthcare conditions specific to pediatrics, including ordering and interpreting tests, and prescribing treatments. Responsibilities also include providing appropriate patient education, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention, and performing necessary clinical procedures.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited program, licensed by the Minnesota Board of Nursing or Medicine, and nationally certified, with specific requirements for APRNs and PAs regarding education and continuing education. A minimum of two years of experience as a Pediatric NP/PA, including NICU experience, is mandatory for both Advanced Practice Clinician positions.

Offers for external candidates are generally made between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on experience.
Eligible for a variable, or non-guaranteed, portion of compensation based on achievement of specific citizenship, quality, or other goals. This is currently 7.5% of base income.
