The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care duties, including assisting in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician. This role also involves clerical operations such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and complete an accredited Medical Assistant Program. Current BLS/CPR certification and familiarity with medical terminology are also required.
