The Restorative Nurse Aide/CNA provides essential personal care, nursing assistance, and performs delegated restorative tasks and exercises specific to resident conditions under supervision. Key duties involve direct resident care, assisting with daily living activities, accurate documentation, and ensuring resident safety and hygiene.
Candidates must possess a valid California Certified Nurse Assistant certification or have completed a Restorative Nurses Aide training program, with a high school diploma or GED preferred. Six months of personal care experience in a long-term care facility is preferred, along with knowledge of skilled nursing facility personal care services.

This position is eligible for Eskaton's health benefits package the first of the month following 60 days of employment and Paid Time Off benefits program after 90 days of employment.
The Restorative Nurses Aide/Certified Nurses Assistant provides personal care, nursing assistance, and other assigned tasks to residents. Duties include direct resident care, assisting in daily living activities, documentation, and resident evaluation. In addition to Certified Nurses Assistant duties, the Restorative Nurses Aide performs tasks/exercises delegated, taught and supervised by therapy and the Restorative Nurses Aide Coordinator that are specific to residents’ condition and diagnosis. Duties and assignments may be adjusted at the discretion of the supervising nurse or the Director of Nursing based on the evaluation of the resident's needs.
High school graduation or G.E.D., preferred. Possession of a valid California Certified Nurse Assistant certification/completion of Restorative Nurses Aide training program.
Six (6) months experience in providing personal care in a long term care facility preferred.
Knowledge in performing personal care services in a skilled nursing facility. Possesses the ability to meet new and/or stressful situations with the appropriate responses, to work effectively as part of a healthcare team, to share information freely, to use and seek supervision and consultation verbally and in writing, and to follow both verbal and written instructions.
The final candidate must successfully pass Eskaton's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, TB screen test and health screen. All new hires are required to sign an arbitration agreement as a condition of employment.
