The Dental Assistant will primarily support the clinical needs of the practice's patients and doctors by assisting during various treatment procedures, taking x-rays, and managing infection control through sterilization of instruments. Key duties also involve executing patient handoffs, monitoring patient flow, performing tasks like denture relines and temporary crown manufacture, and supporting doctor charting.
Candidates must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development within a collaborative team environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with any state-mandated license, registration, or permit, including x-ray certification if applicable.
