As a Graduate Nurse, the role involves providing direct patient care in an acute care hospital setting under supervision, including monitoring patient conditions and assisting with assessments and care planning. Responsibilities also include administering medications, documenting care accurately, collaborating with healthcare teams, and prioritizing patient needs using evidence-based practices.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and authorized to take the NCLEX-RN, practicing as a Graduate Nurse under Board of Nursing authorization. Applicants must obtain an Alabama RN License or Nurse Licensure Compact license within three months of hire and hold current BLS certification; no prior nursing experience is required.
