The therapist will actively participate in the treatment team by providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role-modeling for children aged 17 and under in an outpatient setting. Key duties include conducting patient assessments, delivering individual and group counseling sessions, implementing various therapeutic interventions, and managing crisis situations.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related mental health field, along with required state licensure (LMSW, LPC, LMFT or equivalent). Preferred experience includes at least three years in outpatient mental health settings, along with mandatory CPR certification and training in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Verbal De-escalation.
Licensed Outpatient Therapist We are seeking a dedicated and skilled licensed Intensive Outpatient Therapist to join our behavioral health team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for mental health counseling and a comprehensive understanding of therapeutic modalities, including psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and crisis intervention. As an Outpatient Therapist, you will provide structured outpatient services to individuals (17 years of age and under) and groups, supporting their journey toward recovery and well-being through evidence-based practices.
EDUCATION: Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related mental health field; licensure or certification as required by state regulations. EXPERIENCE: Prefer at least 3 years' experience in outpatient mental health settings with familiarity in hospital or clinic environments. LICENSURE: LMSW, LPC, LMFT or equivalent licensure required. Additional Requirements: CPR certification and training in appropriate use of Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Verbal De-escalation prior to on-the-job training. Strong knowledge of behavioral health modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and addiction counseling. Competency in crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage patients effectively across telehealth platforms when applicable.
