The position involves performing various tasks supporting daily pharmacy workflow, including the compliant distribution of medications under pharmacist supervision. Responsibilities include preparing and dispensing medications, compounding intravenous drugs, assisting with inventory, and handling clerical tasks.
Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, active registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, and current CPT-EXCPT or CPT-PTCB or CPHT certification. Candidates must also possess at least 6 months of experience compounding intravenous medication.
