The ICU Nurse will monitor critically ill and unstable patients, taking reports and performing detailed care plans which include assisting physicians with procedures like chest tube or central line insertion. Responsibilities also involve assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care while guiding support personnel and maintaining knowledge of necessary medical equipment.
Candidates must possess a current Registered Nurse license in the State of California and have a minimum of one year of experience working in an ICU setting. Required certifications include current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
