The Cardiovascular Technologist will perform specialized interventional diagnostic and therapeutic examinations of the heart and blood vessels, utilizing cutting-edge imaging technology under physician guidance. Responsibilities also include ensuring the safe operation of equipment, providing technical support, and responding rapidly to system needs across various critical care units.
Candidates must possess an Associate’s Degree, Kentucky Medical Radiographer licensure, and Basic Life Support (CPR) certification upon hire. Required registration includes ARRT (Radiography) plus one of CCI certifications (Cardiac Sonographer, Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist, or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist), with ACLS required within 90 days.
