As a Registered Nurse, the role involves delivering excellent patient care through assessment, formulating nursing diagnoses, establishing goals, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating patient care outcomes. The nurse is also responsible for participating in maintaining quality, cost-effectiveness, and guest relations in compliance with hospital policies and professional standards.
Minimum requirements include an Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma, a current Texas Registered Nurse license, BLS certification, and at least one year of RN experience demonstrating competence. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred, with a requirement to obtain it within two years if hired with an Associate's degree.
