Key duties involve rooming patients, accurately measuring and recording vital signs, completing patient interviews, and preparing patients for examinations, tests, and treatments. The role also requires assisting providers with procedures, setting up treatment rooms, collecting samples, and performing routine laboratory tests.
Candidates must have experience working as a Medical Assistant in a physician's office, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and demonstrate strong attention to detail. Certification (Certified or Registered) is preferred, and proficiency in medical terminology, computer skills, and HIPAA compliance is necessary.
