The Occupational Therapist Hand Therapist will be responsible for reviewing patient medical history and developing individualized treatment plans based on observations and patient concerns. They will utilize exercises, stretching, equipment, and manual therapy to manage pain, improve mobility, and record patient progress, modifying plans as necessary.
Candidates must be licensed in NYS as an Occupational Therapist and possess an excellent work ethic, along with basic computer skills and current CPR/First Aid certification. Certification as a Hand Therapist (CHT) is strongly preferred, or the candidate must be CHT-eligible with significant hand therapy experience, excluding new graduates.

Licensed Occupational Therapist (or ability to obtain in the state of practice) Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success Basic computer skills CPR and first aid certification required Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) strongly preferred OR CHT-eligible (minimum 4,000 hours of hand therapy experience and 3 years of practice), awaiting board examination, OR Level II fieldwork in hand therapy, with relevant continuing education, and 1–2 years of outpatient hand therapy experience as a licensed OT; NO New Grads Experience treating orthopedic upper-extremity conditions, with a primary focus on adult patients preferred. Expertise includes elbow, wrist, hand, and finger fractures; Carpal Tunnel Syndrome; Trigger Fingers; Osteoarthritis; Rheumatoid Arthritis; tendinopathies; nerve injuries; post-surgical care; and tendon repairs/transfers.
$86K - $108K+ inclusive of productivity incentives, with additional compensation opportunities for certifications. Benefits include generous paid time off, medical, dental, vision, disability, and 401(K) with a 4% employer match. #MPT
