The Technician provides critical data to doctors by performing administrative and clinical functions, including obtaining patient histories, conducting preliminary testing, and managing patient scheduling. They are also responsible for preparing exam rooms and ensuring the practice meets quality standards related to patient experience and communication.
This role requires performing various clinical tasks such as preparing patients for exams, executing preliminary and requested tests, and assisting optometrists and ophthalmologists with procedures. Candidates must also handle administrative duties like scheduling, monitoring patient flow, and maintaining the cleanliness and inventory of the exam room.
